So I stumbled upon this funny blog, Airing My Dirty Laundry, One Sock At A Time she does this It's Okay Tuesday thing that I thought I would participate in. So I should have at least two blog posts a week now. How exciting for us all. {Read that last line with HEAVY sarcasm in case you weren't picking up on it previously} So go read her blog and join in if you want to vent too.
It's okay that I have been stuck in a total creative rut for some time. This too shall pass.
It's okay that I get angry at all the bicyclers out enjoying the good weather making difficult roads even more difficult to drive on.
It's okay that the scary double S curve road that I am referring to in the previous line now has bicyclers AND pedestrians that I am angry at.
It's okay we have been here nearly a year and I still have boxes to unpack.
It's okay that I occasionally hide in the laundry room and eat Reese's Peanut Butter Cups that my son is allergic to because moms need treats too. (and breaks)
It's okay that I meant to post this LAST week and am doing it now.
Ah this crazy lovely life.
I had to giggle when I read your blog name - I'm also a Rudd! Our life is a circus too. Must be something about the name. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I hide mini KitKat bars in condiment section of my fridge.
Yes, Moms DO need treats.
ReplyDeleteI always worry I'm going to hit a bicyclist. I wish they'd try to stick to sidewalks.
I love that you hide peanut butter cups in the laundry room. That is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI hate how it is always your fault if you hit the bicyclist! I mean really they should have some fault....not that I have ever hit a bicyclist I just think if I ever do they should have to own up to some of the fault.....
ReplyDeleteI too am a slack blogger lately, it comes in sperts and there are some weeks that I post sometimes twice a day and then other weeks I post maybe once...and if I do it is almost always this post!
