This Wednesday I feel like I am on a roll with this whole blogging thing. I back up to more than one post a week. Yay me! Luckily I have Joyce's great questions to help keep me going :) Go to her blog at From This Side of The Pond to play along if you aren't already.
1. The first day of spring is here...do you enjoy working in the yard? Weeding, raking, mowing, planting-your favorite springtime garden chore? How about your least favorite?
It has been so long since I worked in the yard I don't remember if I really enjoy it. I do love flowers and am hoping to be doing a bunch of planting here in the next month or so. I would say mowing is my least favorite. I think the lawn mower is just loud and cumbersome, although we have a new one that looks like a hovercraft so I might try that one out.
2. What puts a spring in your step?
Hmmm....well normally I would say a Coke and some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups but since I am on a health kick I would say good weather and when I am out in it having fun with the boys & they are all getting along.

3. Describe a time when you had to spring into action?
4. We're having carrots for dinner...would you prefer yours raw or cooked?
Raw with veggie dip.

5. Do you take the shampoos and other sundries from your hotel room when its time to check out?
6. What's the most enjoyable team or club you've belonged to and what was it that made it so?
I don't know if I have a single team or club that I would pick. I was a cheerleader in high school & I had a blast doing that with my friends and traveling. I belonged to a group called Daughters of Penelope that was a Greek Organization and I really had fun with the ladies in that. I think that is the extent of my clubs and teams. Actually now that I think I belonged to the Yearbook/Newspaper club in high school (yes it was eons ago) and I loved that because I love to write, take pictures and put things together.

7. Is cloning a sign of progress?
Cloning freaks me out. I can see the merit in being able to clone a healthy heart or kidney that someone needs for a transplant but I still think it has more potential for disaster than good right now. Maybe because I don't know a lot about it but I find it could quickly turn bad.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Motivation is motivation, no matter what form it comes in. My current motivation is that we are moving. I would rather meet new people and introduce myself 13 lbs lighter.
ReplyDeleteA trip to visit family is always something I look forward to! I was a cheerleader in high school, as well...best times EVER!
